The Simon’s Town Coastal Forum gives a voice to the aspirations of all people, who appreciate and value the magnificent setting of the coastal environment surrounding Simon’s Town. The Coastal Forum is open to all organisations and individuals, who share this appreciation and wish to join together to conserve and protect its special character. The Simon’s Town Coastal Forum was established in November 2012 as part of the Conservation, Environment and Heritage Portfolio of the Simon’s Town Civic Association.
Over 20 organisations and a growing number of individuals have registered with the Forum. News of events, local achievements, and progress on crucial issues affecting our coast are circulated to Forum members through print, internet and social media platforms. Our quarterly open public meetings provide feedback and information, enable the exchange of views on matters of concern, and feature talks by invited speakers on topics of interest.
